Barbara R. Brown, Certified Public Accountant PLLC is a full-service accounting firm that has been serving the Mooresville, Huntersville, Davidson, Cornelius, and Greater Charlotte, NC areas and surrounding areas for several years. Our firm was established by Barbara Brown to provide individuals and small and medium-sized businesses with access to professional accounting services.
Barbara Brown is a finance and accounting professional with more than 25 years of experience in the retail, not-for-profit, and public accounting industries. She has held leadership roles as CFO, project manager, accounting manager, audit manager, and implementation coordinator. Barbara has extensive experience in financial reporting, auditing, data analysis, tax research, preparation, training, implementation, post-implementation support, and facilitation of cross-functional workshops. She has been recognized for her strong communication, presentation, training, and group facilitation skills. Barbara is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor, and holds a Certification in Control Self Assessment. She is a member of the American Institute of CPA's, the North Carolina Association of CPA's, and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
