Lawrence's journey into the field of accounting began in high school, where he discovered a natural aptitude for numbers and a genuine interest in the intricacies of financial systems. This early interest blossomed into a double major in Accounting and Business Administration at Eastern Mennonite College. After graduating, he joined S.B. Hoover and Company, where he received comprehensive training and mentorship from seasoned professionals. Those years of learning instilled in him a strong foundation in accounting principles and ethical practices.

In 2003, Lawrence realized his lifelong dream of owning his own accounting practice. This marked the beginning of Horizon Accountants, a firm that has grown steadily over the years while remaining dedicated to providing personalized service and expert guidance.
