Our founder, Rich Lane, has been a certified public accountant since 1982 and has over 15 years of experience working as an internal and external auditor for Amtrak (NRPC). He established Rich Lane, C.P.A. in 1995 and has been serving the needs of small business owners and individuals ever since. Rich holds a degree in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, and an MBA from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. He is a registered public accountant with the state of Illinois and specializes in Offer-in-Compromise for individuals and businesses with outstanding issues with taxing entities, as well as individual tax returns.

Rich has been an active member of Business Networking International (BNI) and has held various officer positions. He has also been a member of Toastmasters International since the mid-90's and is still an active member, holding various officer positions over the years. This involvement allows Rich to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in the field of accounting and taxation, ensuring that his clients receive the most current and effective advice.
