Customer Service Issues
Author Miranda Wood had a severely disappointing experience with the customer service. Although she provided her extended 2021 tax information in April 2022, she still hasn't received her refunds by January 2023. The issue occurs because the direct deposit information was not given to the IRS, causing checks to be lost in the mail. The representative, Lauren, showed no regard for the situation and was unresponsive throughout the 8-month process. Miranda had to repeatedly email the company, only to be told that an assistant would be in touch, but she never received a response. As a result, Miranda's $3000 tax refunds remain unaccounted for, nearing one year later.
