Our Team

Carla K. Ralston, EA

Carla K. Ralston is the President of Bookkeeping Plus, Inc. She has over 30 years of experience in tax and accounting. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1988 and a Master of Business Administration in 1996 from MTSU.

Barbara Newsom, EA

Barbara is the Tax Department manager. She prepares and oversees the preparation of Corporation, Non-profit, Partnership, and Individual Tax Returns. Barbara also oversees the preparation of other tax and business filings to ensure clients stay compliant with their federal and state filing requirements. She has many years of experience in accounting and has been with BKP for over 15 years. She holds BBA in Accounting from MTSU and is an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS.

Joan McCreary, EA

Joan started with Bookkeeping Plus in 2015 and is now an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. She loves to attend sporting events, concerts, amusement parks, and trivia game nights with her family.

Client Center

We believe in providing our clients with the best possible service. Our Client Center offers a range of resources, including tax tips, IRS tax tips, news updates, and a client newsletter. We also provide forms like the W-4, W-9, and SS-4 application, as well as labor law posters and new business tips.
